As the title of my blog indicates, I think it is important for us all to take a minute during our hectic lives and stop to smell the roses. I know as I go through my day the last thing I think about is another item to put on my to-do list, but this, the very blog that you are reading, is my chance to take the time to smell the roses.
While yes, it does help me in the long run of practicing writing for my future in journalism, I would rather think of it as my minute to check to see how my life has progressed.
Am I the person I want to be?
Am I taking the time for what is important to me?
And yes, this does mean that I will write about my experiences and thoughts in life, but I doubt my life strays too far from anyone else's.
The crazy stories, random happenings and just plain weird occurrences of my life will hopefully bring a little humor to yours, so enjoy as I, and hopefully you along with me, embark on this new adventure.
